A large, well-supported bulk-billing practice in Geelong — Victoria's second-largest city — is looking to welcome a UK-trained GP to its team. The practice is part of a national healthcare network that has been operating since 2012 and has a clear, published track record of supporting UK-trained GPs through relocation, AHPRA registration, and settlement in Australia.

Geelong sits on the shores of Corio Bay, around an hour south-west of central Melbourne, with direct rail and motorway access into the city. It's Victoria's second-largest city and one of Australia's genuinely underrated coastal relocation destinations — world-class beaches (the Bellarine Peninsula and Great Ocean Road on your doorstep), excellent schools, a growing food and arts scene, and property prices substantially lower than Melbourne itself. Melbourne is close enough for city weekends without the daily cost of living there, and the surf coast, Grampians, and wine country are all within comfortable reach.

About the practice

The clinic is part of a national healthcare group operating a small number of medical centres across the ACT, NSW, and VIC. The group has a specific focus on supporting overseas-trained doctors — with a published "Overseas Doctors" pathway, UK-trained doctor testimonials, and strong institutional experience guiding GPs through AHPRA registration, visa sponsorship, and relocation.

The Geelong site is a modern, well-equipped multi-room clinic with state-of-the-art facilities, supported by an experienced nursing and administrative team. Clinical scope is broad general practice with genuine clinical variety across the local patient base.

Package & earnings

• 70/30 billing split in your favour during standard hours
• 75/25 billing split for out-of-hours consultations
• Bulk billing model with access to the federal bulk billing incentive (12.5%)
• AUD $20,000 relocation allowance
• Full visa support, including a budget allocated for visa costs
• Full-time or part-time considered

Visa & AHPRA support

Full end-to-end support through AHPRA registration (Specialist or Expedited Specialist Pathway depending on your credentials) and 482 visa sponsorship, with a clear pathway to permanent residency. The group has dedicated infrastructure for supporting overseas-trained doctors — this is not a first-time recruitment for them, and they've successfully supported UK-trained GPs through the same pathway you'd be taking. Our team will handle the heavy lifting on AHPRA paperwork, timelines, and ECFMG/EPIC verification, working alongside a practice that knows the process well.
