A privately-owned, growing GP group in the Hunter Valley region is looking to welcome up to four UK-trained GPs to its expanding site over the coming year. The clinic is part of a small, independently-owned GP group operating three sites across the Newcastle/Hunter corridor. The practice is deliberately not corporate — independent ownership, family-style culture, and a stated focus on long-term GP retention, training, and mentorship. The Gillieston Heights site is a modern facility with on-site pathology, allied health (including podiatry), and a strong skin cancer clinic offering.

A key differentiator: the practice owner is an experienced skin cancer GP with advanced surgical skills, and offers genuine mentorship for GPs wanting to develop skin medicine and procedural work from beginner level upwards. • Performance expectation: the practice expects established GPs to be billing at or above AUD $550,000 annually
• Strong nursing utilisation handles care plans, vaccinations, chronic disease support and procedure assistance — maximising GP clinical time and earnings
• Full-time or part-time considered

Visa & AHPRA support

Full end-to-end support through AHPRA registration (Specialist or Expedited Specialist Pathway depending on your credentials) and 482 visa sponsorship — the practice already holds sponsorship approval and has direct experience supporting international doctors. A clear pathway to permanent residency is in place. Our team will handle the heavy lifting on AHPRA paperwork, visa timelines, and ECFMG/EPIC verification where needed.

The practice also routinely supports overseas GPs with practical relocation logistics — housing searches, real estate connections, video property inspections, initial accommodation support, and referrals for accountants and ABN setup.
