A bulk-billing family practice in Melbourne's western suburbs is looking to welcome two UK-trained GPs to its team. The practice transitioned to fully bulk billing in November 2025 to take advantage of expanded federal incentive structures, and is now actively growing its GP capacity to meet community demand. The suburb sits around 17–20km west of central Melbourne, within the City of Brimbank, and is one of Melbourne's growing outer-west residential corridors. The area is popular with young families and working professionals — predominantly modern detached houses and townhouses, larger properties than you'd find inner-city, and median rents around AUD $400 per week (one-bedroom rentals AUD $280–380 per week). About the practice

The clinic is an established, accredited general practice serving the local community, supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team. The practice transitioned to fully bulk billing in November 2025 in response to the expanded federal bulk billing incentive structures — meaning standard Medicare consultations are bulk billed, with private fees retained only for specific services like medical reports, pre-employment medicals, procedures, and travel vaccinations.

Clinical work is broad family medicine across a mixed but predominantly young-family demographic, with pathology and allied health services accessible alongside the GP team. Patient demand is strong enough to support the addition of two new GPs to the team without splitting the existing patient base.

Package & earnings

• 70/30 billing split in your favour (30% service fee)
• Fully bulk billing — accessing federal bulk billing incentive structures on top of standard billings
• AUD $180/hr income guarantee for the first 6 months while you build your patient base
• AUD $20,000 relocation allowance paid after one month of successful employment
• Full-time or part-time considered

Billing model

Fully bulk billing for all eligible Medicare card holders (transitioned November 2025), with private fees retained only for non-Medicare-eligible services (medical reports, pre-employment medicals, procedures, travel vaccinations).

Visa & AHPRA support

Full end-to-end support through AHPRA registration (Specialist or Expedited Specialist Pathway depending on your credentials) and 482 visa sponsorship, with a clear pathway to permanent residency. Our team will handle the heavy lifting on AHPRA paperwork, timelines, and ECFMG/EPIC verification where needed.
