This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate Urologist to step into a leadership role within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Main Duties:

  • Ward Coverage: Provide clinical care across inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, Emergency Department, and surgical theatres.
  • Patient Profile: A diverse range of urological conditions presenting through emergency, outpatient referrals, and inpatient consultations.
  • Team Structure: Collaborate with junior medical officers, registrars, and a multidisciplinary team. Support from Medical Administration and senior consultants.
  • On-call Commitments: Participation in the on-call roster is required, with reasonable on-site response times.
  • Non-Clinical Opportunities: Engage in teaching, training, quality improvement, audits, and research. Involvement in registrar training accreditation and education programs is encouraged.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, applicants must have:

  • Full registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (or overseas equivalent with pathway eligibility).
  • Experience in managing a full range of urological conditions.
  • Proven ability to lead and work within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to education, research, and continuous improvement.
  • Availability for on-call and site attendance.
