About the Role

Are you an experienced Paediatric Radiologist ready to make a meaningful impact in children’s healthcare? NSW Health is seeking a dedicated Staff Specialist in Paediatric Radiology to join a dynamic multidisciplinary imaging service based in NSW.

In this key specialist role, you will:

  • Provide high-quality diagnostic and consultative paediatric imaging services using advanced modalities such as MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, CT, Nuclear Medicine and PET. 

  • Deliver compassionate patient-centred care and contribute to clinical leadership across the service. 

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including paediatricians, surgeons, emergency and allied health specialists. 

  • Support teaching, training and professional development of registrars and junior medical staff. 

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.

Selection Criteria

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) or equivalent.

  • Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a specialist. 

  • Demonstrable expertise in paediatric radiology, with advanced diagnostic skills across relevant imaging techniques. 

  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities within multidisciplinary clinical teams. 

Desirable Attributes:

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, research, and education. 

  • Experience in mentoring and teaching within a clinical setting.
