The Department and Hospital:

The Trust has 5 different hospitals across West and Central London with 2 A&E departments. This opportunity is for candidates to join the Acute General Teaching Hospital in Central London which has been recently refurbished. We are linked with one of the world’s best universities which has helped us have a long track record in research and education, influencing care and treatment. Our Emergency Department and Urgent Care Centre offer services for 84,706 patients a year, around-the-clock. Since there are no paediatric services on-site, only a small percentage of these (2000) are children. We form one of six academic health science centres in the UK.

Candidates interested in getting into CESR training or developing a certain area of interest are welcome to apply as we can support this. There will be opportunities to formally and informally develop non-clinical skills like management, quality improvement, and leadership and supervision. We have an incredible record of training and teaching, especially in quality improvement and collaborating with all staff to create ways to enhance working conditions.
