💼 About the Role

We’re seeking motivated and enthusiastic Specialty Doctors to join our Emergency Department (ED). You'll work within a collaborative 3-tier rota system and be supported by experienced consultants committed to education, CESR progression, and long-term development.

Whether you’re pursuing CESR or looking for a fulfilling permanent role, we’ll tailor the opportunity to your goals – including structured non-clinical time for ultrasound, QI, simulation, frailty, or leadership interests.

🩺 What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality care in a busy and diverse ED
  • Contribute to the full shift rota (early, late, night)
  • Support and supervise junior doctors
  • Engage in teaching, CPD, audit, and quality improvement
  • Develop a specialist interest or pursue CESR with consultant mentoring
  • Participate in governance, service development, and leadership

 What We’re Looking For

  • GMC registration with license to practise
  • MRCEM certification
  • Minimum of 6 months NHS experience
  • At least ST3-level experience in Emergency or Acute Medicine
  • ALS (or commitment to attain)
  • Experience in supervising junior doctors and leading shifts
  • A passion for teamworking, innovation, and patient-centred care
