Join a Leading Breast Radiology Service in Scotland
We are seeking a Specialty Doctor in Breast Radiology to join a supportive, innovative team at a modern, purpose-built Breast Centre. This is a unique chance to work across both symptomatic and screening services, alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team including surgeons, oncologists, and advanced practice radiographers.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting one-stop breast clinics with mammography, ultrasound, and stereotactic biopsies
- Reporting on both screening and symptomatic mammograms
- Active participation in MDT meetings and contributing to patient management
- Involvement in audit, teaching, and service development initiatives
Ideal Candidate
- GMC registered with licence to practise, FRCR (or equivalent)
- 4+ years post-registration experience, ideally in breast imaging
- Competent in mammography, breast ultrasound, and biopsy techniques
- Keen to develop expertise in breast radiology (mentorship/training supported)
- Recent NHS experience desirable
