Specialty Doctor – Breast Radiology

Join a Leading Breast Radiology Service in Scotland

We are seeking a Specialty Doctor in Breast Radiology to join a supportive, innovative team at a modern, purpose-built Breast Centre. This is a unique chance to work across both symptomatic and screening services, alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team including surgeons, oncologists, and advanced practice radiographers.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting one-stop breast clinics with mammography, ultrasound, and stereotactic biopsies
• Reporting on both screening and symptomatic mammograms
• Active participation in MDT meetings and contributing to patient management
• Involvement in audit, teaching, and service development initiatives

Ideal Candidate

• GMC registered with licence to practise, FRCR (or equivalent)
• 4+ years post-registration experience, ideally in breast imaging
• Competent in mammography, breast ultrasound, and biopsy techniques
• Keen to develop expertise in breast radiology (mentorship/training supported)
• Recent NHS experience desirable
