About the Opportunity
I am recruiting on behalf of a progressive, well-established GP training practice in the Northeast that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity offering 4–6 sessions per week, with a clear and genuine route to partnership for the right candidate.

The Role
- Conduct face-to-face and remote consultations for acute, chronic, and preventive care
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical conditions across all age groups
- Issue prescriptions, request investigations, and follow up on results
- Refer patients to appropriate secondary care or specialist services
- Provide clinical input to the practice team and attend regular clinical meetings
- Participate in quality improvement activities and audits
- Work collaboratively with nursing, administrative and pharmacy teams
- Take an active role in the future development of the practice
- Opportunity to become a GP Partner as part of succession planning
What We’re Looking For
Essential Criteria:
- GMC registration and on the GP Register
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice
- At least 12 months’ experience working independently as a GP
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- A patient-centred approach to care
Desirable:
- Experience using EMIS Web
- Interest in or current involvement with teaching, mentoring, or GP training
- Special interests (e.g., minor surgery, women’s health, dermatology, mental health)
- A desire to contribute to leadership and future planning, including partnership
Additional Information
- This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- UK professional registration is required
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
