We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established rural training practice seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking General Practitioner to join its friendly, multi-professional team. Due to a reduction in hours by a current GP, this role offers flexible sessional commitment (2–6 sessions per week) and the option of either a salaried or partnership position.

- 15-minute appointments and a realistic workload (13 patients per session)

- Nurse-led chronic disease management and specialist clinics (e.g. Minor Surgery, Implants, Warfarin Monitoring, Joint Injections)
Main Responsibilities
As a core member of the clinical team, you will:
- Deliver high-quality care to registered patients in accordance with national and local guidelines
- Undertake face-to-face and remote consultations, providing diagnosis, treatment, advice, and follow-up care
- Make timely referrals and collaborate with secondary care and community providers
- Maintain accurate records using SystmOne
- Participate in clinical audits, QOF achievement, and other quality improvement initiatives
- Attend clinical and practice team meetings, contributing to strategic planning and practice development
- Support the training and supervision of GP registrars and medical students (if applicable)
- Engage in continued professional development and appraisal

Person Specification
Essential:
- Full GMC registration with license to practice
- Inclusion on the GP register
- Entry on the NHS England Medical Performers List
- MRCGP qualification
- Experience working in UK Primary Care or successful completion of GP Registrar training
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
Desirable:
- Interest or experience in clinical leadership, education, or a clinical specialism
- Experience supervising trainees or medical students
- Proficiency with SystmOne
