Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to join our modern private health clinic in London. The ideal candidate will be confident in providing high-quality medical care to babies, children, and adults, offering a full range of primary care services in a welcoming and patient-focused environment. This role requires strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care consultations to patients of all ages, including paediatric and adult patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications safely and appropriately in accordance with GMC and UK prescribing guidelines.
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including long-term disease management.
- Perform routine health checks, screenings, immunisations, and preventive health services.
- Provide urgent and same-day care where required.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records following clinic protocols and UK regulatory requirements.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists or healthcare services when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold high standards of patient confidentiality, dignity, and clinical professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Fully qualified General Practitioner with GMC registration and a valid licence to practise in the UK.
- Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) or equivalent.
- Experience managing patients across the full age spectrum: infants, children, and adults.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to manage a wide range of primary care presentations.
- Confident and competent in prescribing medications in the UK healthcare system.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced private clinical environment with a focus on personalised care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
