We’re seeking a dedicated Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join a supportive and well-resourced team at a modern facility in Dubbo – a major regional city offering a fulfilling career and a superb lifestyle.

Main Duties:
• Wards: Inpatient ward care, outpatient clinics, labour ward, theatre, and Emergency Department support as required.
• Patient Population: Women requiring antenatal, perinatal, surgical gynaecological care, and general reproductive health services.
• Colleagues: Join a cohesive, collegiate team of O&G consultants, registrars, junior medical officers, midwives, and allied health professionals.
• On-Call Rota: Participation in a well-structured O&G on-call roster is expected.
Non-Clinical Time: Yes – contribute to education, research, quality improvement, hospital grand rounds, and accreditation activities.

• Beds & Capabilities: A newly redeveloped facility serving as a major referral centre in the region, with over 170 beds and advanced maternity and surgical theatres.
• Specialties: Full range including Emergency, ICU, Surgery, Paediatrics, Mental Health, and Diagnostic Imaging.
Network: Part of the Western NSW Local Health District, offering regional reach and collaborative support.

Requirements:
 To apply for this role, you will need:
 • Fellowship of RANZCOG or equivalent international qualification.
 • Full or eligible specialist registration with AHPRA.
 • Demonstrated experience in both obstetrics and gynaecological surgery.
 • Strong communication and team leadership capabilities.
 • Commitment to training and mentorship of junior doctors and registrars.
 • Participation in an on-call service and on-site response within a reasonable timeframe.
 • Willingness to relocate and contribute to a tight-knit regional medical community.
