This Trust, 45 minutes outside of London and with a CQC rating of ‘outstanding’ is looking for a Specialty Doctor to join its ranks. You would be exposed to a variety of sub-specialties on a rotational basis, in a very busy department.

The location of this Trust makes it ideal for single individuals and families alike. Close to London, in a low-crime rate area with brilliant schools and plenty of green space make this one of the most desirable places to live in the country. As this is a middle-grade role, it suits someone with experience in Urology overseas and MRCS. It will provide a great point to begin in a journey to a UK Consultant.

The Trust’s Urology Service

This is a thriving Urology Department with a dynamic team of middle grades and Consultants alike! There’s a diverse range of sub-specialties which you will be able to sample on a rotational basis, collaborating closely with the esteemed consultants. With a commitment of 1 in 8 on-call duties spanning both weekdays and weekends, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, gaining invaluable experience and helping the community in a huge way.

The practice encompasses treatments for a spectrum of urological conditions, with each consultant bringing their unique specialization to the table. The department is closely affiliated with a prestigious regional cancer network, meaning that it can provide a very high level of care to those with Urological cancers.

Recognized for their exceptional standards in urological care, the department recently received an amazing external peer review. The department is only aiming to increase its offerings over the next few years, making this an exciting time to join and contribute to this continued success. Exciting developments lie ahead, including the establishment of state-of-the-art robotic surgery facilities.

45 minutes from Central London but positively nestled into a countryside space, this Trust offers the amenities of the UK’s biggest city whilst simultaneously giving you the peaceful experience you’d expect from any other British countryside town. Requirements

  • GMC Registration with License to Practice (essential)
  • MRCS is preferable, or a lot of experience and PLAB
