An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Consultant Paediatric Radiologist to join a renowned NHS Trust in the East Midlands, offering a dynamic mix of clinical and teaching responsibilities across a highly specialised Children’s Hospital. Who We’re Looking For
- GMC registered radiologists (or within 6 months of CCT)
- FRCR or equivalent essential
- Completed sub-specialty training in Paediatric Imaging preferred
- Skilled in multimodality reporting (MRI, CT, US, PF, fluoroscopy)
- Passion for education, audit, and service development
The Department
- Six consultant paediatric radiologists in post
- Dedicated paediatric sonographers, radiographers, and assistants
- Facilities include DR fluoroscopy, modern US suites, and integrated MRI/CT imaging
- Robust clinical governance structure and audit participation
- Comprehensive MDT and reporting infrastructure with home workstation options
Career Progression & CESR Support
- 2 SPA PAs in year 1 (1.5 thereafter)
- Mentorship in CESR application and NHS governance
- Active participation in teaching undergraduates and postgraduates
- Research opportunities via local academic partnerships
