The role includes participation in both Clinical and Laboratory Haematology services, with opportunities to contribute to medical teaching.
Laboratory Haematology
The laboratories are modern, spacious, and accredited (CPA, MHRA, UKAS ISO) with recognition for training by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. The department supports broad expertise in Haematology while allowing consultant sub-specialisation. Blood transfusion services are supported by a dedicated committee, including senior consultants, blood bank managers, specialist practitioners, and BMS leads.

The Brighton site is also a designated haemophilia centre with local clotting factor stocks.
Outpatient Clinics
