🌟 GP Opportunity – Rural South Australia 🌟

Are you a UK-trained GP looking for a unique opportunity to grow your career in a supportive, well-resourced regional practice? This Medical Centre, just 2 hours from Adelaide, is seeking enthusiastic GPs to join our dedicated team.

Why Clare Medical Centre?

• 60:40 split – while service fee is higher, you can maximise earnings due to high average GP billings: $401 per consulting hour, $108 per appointment.

• 75:25 split - all emergency/inpatient hospital work 

• High patient demand – active patient base across the region: ~8,500 patients. Most doctors are fully booked, with appointments often 3–6 weeks out, some up to 3 months.

• Flexible work-life balance – majority of GPs are part-time, with freedom to adjust start/finish times and work half-days. Standard day: 13 patients AM / 13 patients PM, 15-minute appointments.

• Relocation support – $10,000 + 6 months accommodation to help you settle in.

Hospital & Procedural Work:

• 24hr ED/inpatient shifts – day shift: 10 hrs onsite ($4,106 gross / $3,079 net after 25% service fee). Overnight: remote on-call from home unless called in.

• ED supported by 24/7 GP Obstetrician and GP Anaesthetist team (6 GPAs, 4 GP Obs), plus Medstar helicopter medical support for transfers to Adelaide tertiary hospitals.

• Opportunity to assist in planned theatre lists and LSCS procedures.

Earnings Potential:

• Pure clinic work: full-time GP could expect $450k–$650k per year depending on efficiency.

• Combined hospital and clinic work can significantly increase total income.

• Are a UK-trained CCT GP, ready for regional work with DPA benefits.

• Have or are interested in sub-specialty experience.
