Consultant Radiologist – Nuclear Medicine

The Opportunity

Join a forward-thinking NHS department delivering a full range of nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology services, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, plain film, and SPECT-CT. You’ll be part of a highly skilled multi-subspecialty radiology team, working in a department equipped with advanced imaging infrastructure and modern PACS, with AI integration planned.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop nuclear medicine services, including SPECT-CT reporting
• Contribute to multimodality diagnostic reporting across CT, MRI, US, and PF
• Participate in MDTs, service development, audit, and teaching
• Work closely with colleagues across acute and community sites
• Shape departmental growth in a supportive and collaborative environment

What You’ll Need

• FRCR or equivalent
• GMC Specialist Register (or within 6 months of CCT)
• ARSAC Practitioner Licence (or eligibility)
• Strong track record in nuclear medicine reporting, including SPECT-CT
• Commitment to governance, quality improvement, and education
