Shape the Future of Radiology in Mid and South Essex
We are working in partnership with Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust (MSE) to appoint two Consultant Radiologists to join their expanding imaging team at Broomfield Hospital. This is an outstanding opportunity for both experienced consultants and newly accredited specialists to contribute to a thriving Radiology department, with sub-specialty interests particularly welcomed in Urology, Gynaecology, or Breast imaging. The department is growing in response to increased cross-sectional imaging activity and the opening of a new Community Diagnostic Centre in 2026, making this an exciting time to join one of the most forward-thinking Radiology teams in the UK.
The Role
As part of a large, collaborative multi-disciplinary imaging service, you will:
- Deliver a high-quality general diagnostic radiology service (including ultrasound and cross-sectional imaging).
- Support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care with timely diagnostic input.
- Participate in MDTs and contribute to service development, teaching, and quality improvement.
- Undertake an equitable share of the diagnostic on-call rota (1 in 16).
- Engage in clinical audit, CPD, and clinical governance activities to uphold excellence.
