An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Community Paediatrician to join a highly regarded Community Paediatrics team in the Midlands. The Trust are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking clinician to help deliver high-quality, integrated care to children and young people across the region.
You will be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering specialist secondary care services to children with developmental, behavioural, and social health needs. The role offers opportunities to develop special interests in Looked After Children and Safeguarding, with additional programmed activities (PAs) available for these leadership responsibilities.
Main Duties:
- Management of a community caseload with outpatient clinics.
- Participation in child protection rota (non-sexual abuse cases only, Monday–Friday).
- Clinical supervision and support for junior medical staff.
- Involvement in service improvement, governance, and multi-agency liaison.

Requirements:
- GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT (at time of interview).
- MRCPCH (or equivalent).
- Significant experience in community child health and child protection.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
