Trauma & Orthopaedics – Registrar, Specialty Doctor & Consultant Level

We are working with several renowned NHS Trusts to recruit Senior Clinical Fellows (ST3+), Specialty Doctors and Consultants in Trauma & Orthopaedics. These posts offer some excellent career progression with the potential for CESR / Portfolio Pathway support and development of specialist interests

Role and Responsibilities

🔹 Providing expert care in trauma and elective orthopaedics, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes
🔹 Leading and supervising junior doctors, nurses and allied health professionals
🔹 Developing and implementing clinical protocols to enhance patient safety and efficiency
🔹 Contributing to training and education for medical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning
🔹 Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
🔹 Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient management
🔹 Participating in the on-call rota, delivering consultant-led care as required

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

✅ GMC Registration (or eligibility for GMC registration).
✅ UK experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics at the appropriate Registrar, Specialty Doctor, or Consultant level.
✅ Strong clinical expertise in managing elective and emergency cases.
✅ Experience of running fracture clinics and independent elective lists.
✅ Commitment to working on audits, QIPs, teaching, research or other areas of development

Desirable Criteria:

➕ Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) 
➕ Subspecialty interest that can be developed further.
