As an ST3+ Registrar in Acute Medicine you will be responsible for delivering high quality care to acutely unwell patients presenting to the hospital. You will be treating patients displaying a wide range of acute medical emergencies, so no two days are the same and there is great opportunity to learn.


The Job

The Trust are seeking a Registrar to:

  • Work a full on-call Registrar rota, including days, evenings, nights and weekends. 
  • Treat patients in the Acute Medicine Unit (AMU), Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), and the Acute Assessment Unit (AAU).
  • Be a senior member of the code blue / resuscitation team.
  • Provide additional support for junior doctors.

A medium sized district general hospital based in a city. The Acute team see a wide range of complex cases so there is a great opportunity to learn.  


The Requirements

In order to apply for this role you will need:

  • (Full MRCP) OR (MRCP 1 and 2 + UK experience)
  • IELTS or OET
  • GMC Registration
  • Registrar equivalent experience in Medicine, ICU OR Emergency Medicine.
