This is an incredible opportunity for Senior Emergency Physician to join as a Specialty Doctor at a prestigious University Teaching Hospital in Yorkshire. Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts. The Northern General Hospital is the home of the City’s Accident and Emergency department which is also now one of three adult Major Trauma Centres for the Yorkshire and Humber region.
The Job
The job will be annualised based on a 10 PA a week job plan incorporating annual leave, and study leave. The appointee will self-roster their shifts based on their professional needs and those of the department. Night shift and weekend working is expected unless extenuating personal or occupational health circumstances apply. Appointees will have 1 PA for SPA activity for appraisal and revalidation. Further SPA will be provided based on the non-clinical work the appointee takes up, at the discretion of the Clinical Director. This will be subject to review.

- Full GMC registration
- MRCEM or equivalent
- Senior clinical experience
