Specialty Doctor in Cardiology and General Medicine

We are partnering with a trust to find a Specialty Doctor in Cardiology and GIM. This is a rare and exciting position which doesn’t come around often! You will be settling into a well organised, supportive team and will be seen as a senior figure in the department.
If you have a background in Cardiology and are wanting to continue that in the UK or if you have a General Medicine background with a subspecialty interest in Cardiology, then the position would be perfect for you.
Main Duties:
- Assisting as well as supervising junior doctors in the department ranging from FY1/2 to ST3 trainees and GP trainees.
- Both Inpatient and Outpatient work
- You will be required to attend the Acute Cardiac Unit (ACU)
- Handle Acute Cardiological emergencies
- Communicating with other departments and colleagues
- Participate in the general medicine weekend on call rota which is currently 1:6
- Be involved in Research, Audits, and education sessions to others
- Opportunity to be trained in Echocardiography if of interest

Requirements:
The team are open to applicants from the UK or from overseas and will support you in settling into the new role.

- Full MRCP (or equivalent post-graduate qualification)
- GMC Registration either waiting ID check or Complete
- OET or IELTS
- 5+ years of clinical experience
- Registrar (or equivalent) level experience
