Locum Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Breast Imaging

We are working with a number of state-of-art breast unit’s, offering unparalleled diagnostic services, as a post holder, you will have experience in breast imaging including diagnostic mammography, ultrasound examinations, ultrasound guided biopsies, stereotactic and vacuum biopsies, FNAs and wire localisations. You will also contribute to the general radiology reporting and Breast MDTs
- Working as part of a Multidisciplinary team
- Reporting CT, MRI, Plain Film, NM and Ultrasound
- Breast Imaging experience is an essential for this role
- 8 PA’s DCC
- 1.5 PA’s SPA
- 0.5 PA On-Call
- Training and Supervision of Trainees
- Clinical Audits

Radiology Department
This role is responsible for assisting the Trust in expanding and enhancing its imaging services. In addition, the appointee will be part of 15 Consultant colleagues' on-call rota for general Radiology. Along with joining a multi-professional team, the successful candidate will also provide clinical expertise at the Trust's community hospitals and primary care clinics. FRCR qualified overseas consultants are encouraged to apply. For overseas radiologists, the department provides first-class CESR support. From day one of your tenure, a dedicated CESR lead will assist you in achieving Specialist Registration.
Location
