  • Delivering clinical care and leadership
  • Using your experience to further develop the service alongside the Clinical Lead
  • Experience of imaging the full paediatric age range is essential
  • A secondary sub-specialist interest in MSK or Urology would be advantageous
  • Contributing towards the general radiology workload
  • Management of all patients referred to the Trust
  • Clinical Audit
  • Training and Supervision of Junior Radiologists
  • Providing support to our radiographers and sonographers
  • Participate in Mentoring
  • Dedicated SPA (Service development, Clinical governance, teaching, CME/CPD
  • 8.5 PA DCC
  • 1.5 SPA
  • 1:11 On-Call
  • Home Reporting Stations available

Radiology Department

The hospital has in excess of 350 beds and serves a local population of 250,000. The department is responsible for providing a complete imaging service to the Trust operational 7 days per week.  They are proud that their treatment times are consistently on target. The department provides regular radiological clinical meetings and cancer MDT’s across all specialist areas.

  • PACS integrated with CRIS
  • 2 X-Ray Rooms

Location

In the local area, you can choose between rural or urban properties to rent or purchase. Consultant radiologists looking to relocate with their families are well served by excellent state and independent schools. Water sports and walking trails are excellent activities thanks to the abundance of green spaces. For those interested in rowing, there is an active community.
