In addition to receiving tertiary referrals from across the Southeast of England, our client has a network of spoke’ sites at district general hospitals enabling its consultants to offer their expertise with routine treatments and consultations as close to patients’ homes as is possible. With the recent addition of video led virtual’ consultations it also enables patients who have some distance to travel to avoid the additional stress and worry of a long journey. Overview

  • Contributing towards MSK / General / Neuro speciality workload with the expectation to be able to report general radiology examinations including Xray
  • There is an expectation to support registrars, CDC pathways and to work flexibly to cover colleagues.
  • This role is to cover core staging work for H&N / plastics specialities as well as our imaging work performed on behalf of primary care and CDC.

Main Responsibilities

  • To support clinical reporting of work
  • MDT participation / reporting governance
  • Training and supporting registrars / reporting radiographers.
  • Support sonographers with report queries
  • REALM / governance meetings
  • Pathway development for CDC
  • Participation with imaging network at T&F groups

  • Speciality experience in MSK / Neuro / General
  • Governance experience (REALM / other)
  • MDT participation
  • Teaching / mentoring

Desirable criteria

  • Participation with imaging networks
  • CDC awareness
