A fantastic opportunity, to join one of the largest integrated care organisations in the NHS, with an overall CQC rating of ‘Good’. The hospital itself, mainly specialises with inpatient paediatrics, general surgery, and has a dedicated stroke specialist centre. This post is for a cross-sectional radiologist with GU subspecialty experience, however, our client will also consider someone with good experience in cross sectional imaging (and pelvic MRI reporting) and a keen interest to develop their GU Radiology reporting

- Reporting CT, MRI, Plain Film, NM and Ultrasound
- Benign and Malignant MDT’s
- 7.75 PA’s DCC
- 1.5 PA’s SPA
- 1:10 On-Call
- Training and Supervision of Junior Radiologists
- Clinical Audits

Radiology Department
The department comprises Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Medical Physics, Nuclear Medicine, Radio-Pharmacy and medical illustration. PACS system is used cross-site and also within the community. The department typically sees reporting numbers in excess of 350,000 per year. The department facilities include:
- 4 CT Scanners
- 3 MRI Scanners
- 16 Ultrasound Rooms
- 1 SPECT CT (GE)
- 2 Gamma Cameras
Location
Several towns make up the local area. It is located near a major city and international airports. Canals connect the local area with over 1000 hectares of green space. It has easy access to the main motorways connecting the north and south of England. In the UK, international Radiologists can choose between living in a large city or in the quieter suburbs with a lower cost of living. There is a large, ethnically diverse community in the area
