This role focuses on developing acute and general neurology services whilst keeping high quality care towards patients. The accepted appointee will join a warm, supportive, welcoming team who will work together to deliver high patient care. 

The Job

This role includes:

  • Being a decision maker on the Neurology wards, leading a team of Registrars and junior doctors. 
  • 1.5 SPA’s to work on your personal development 
  • Participate in General Neurology outpatient clinics, and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) Neurology clinics. 
  • To prevent, diagnose and treat patients in the ward
  • Active participation in teaching under graduates and postgraduates
  • Audits and attending government meetings are mandatory 
  • Maintain their profession development inline with NHS guidelines 
  • Opportunity to do cross work in Stroke

The Requirements

In order to apply for this role you will need:

  • Full MRCP 
  • IELTS or OET 
  • GMC Registration
  • Consultant experience in Neurology, or senior Registrar/Specialist experience and looking to step up.
